What’s your best advice to couples when choosing their perfect wedding venue?

Find a venue that reflects both of you as a couple – whether it be a French styled venue that reminds you of a holiday you went on, a location near to where you met, or in RIBA’s case, a building with such unique architecture that it reflects your special relationship. It is always important to have those little roots, as it makes the day that even more special!

Any finally, what are your favourite moments from previous wedding you’ve been involved with?

Samantha’s favourite moments include:

When the Bride and Groom enter the venue at the start of the day. It is always such a happy atmosphere full of excitement and the RIBA staff always love being involved in this special moment.

Another favourite moment is the speeches – you get to know a huge amount about the couples during the planning process, however there is nothing like speeches to really get to know two people you have been planning with for so long! It is always an emotional moment!
