Do you offer civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies?

Do you have in-house catering, or preferred suppliers or are couples free to choose their own caterers?
We have a range of suppliers that we have worked with for several years and we are more than happy to recommend them. Regarding caterers, we highly recommend our in-house caterer Shona Pollock, and we also use a local catering company called Greenfig. However, we do understand that you may want to bring your own caterer in. We are more than happy to discuss this with you.
Can couples supply their own alcohol for the evening? Is there a corkage fee?
The club has a wine list which can be supplied on request. You can also supply your own wine and champagne at a corkage fee. The bar serves a good selection of beers and Guiness on draft. The bar closes at 23:30 latest for any event.
Are couples completely free to choose their own wedding entertainment & do you have a specific sound system?
We have a resident DJ John Codd as well as a PA system to plug an MP3 into. Live music is permitted until 23:00, with the balcony also closing at this time, and all music must cease promptly at 24:00. This is due to the club being located in a residential area.
Do you offer accommodation on site? If so, for how many guests?
Do you have an in-house wedding co-ordinator?
Yes, our dedicated events team including our Event Manager who will help anyway they can in the lead up to the day.
How far in advance can couples or their wedding stylist, florist etc have access to the venue in order to decorate it?
The client and suppliers can access from 10am on the day of the event. If there are no events taking place we may also be able to set up the day before, however, this can not be guaranteed.
You can decorate the Club, but any decorations put up must not interfere with any boats/blade/pictures on the wall. Decorations must also be taken down by yourselves or we can do this for an additional fee.
Do you have gardens or an outdoor area for wedding photographs?
Along the front of the club is a large balcony that is wonderful for photos, and gives you and your guests outdoor space during your wedding. The balcony offers glorious panoramic views of the River Thames, and across to Bishops Park.
What’s your best advice to couples when choosing their perfect wedding venue?
Come prepared with a long list of questions and take lots of photos!
Any finally, what are your favourite moments from previous wedding you’ve been involved with?
The best part is when we see the bride and groom let their hair down on the dancefloor!
