Just yards from the bustling Old Street roundabout and within walking distance from the Barbican and Moorgate, LSO St Luke’s offers the convenience of a City location with the beauty and intrigue of a unique heritage space.
Entering through the building’s elegant façade, guests will find themselves inside a contemporary interior with fascinating hints of original 18th-century architecture. The Jerwood Hall at LSO St Luke’s, flooded with natural light, is a highly versatile space able to accommodate up to 200 guests for seated dinners or 425 for standing receptions. Celebrate your day in this Grade I listed venue that has played host to the likes of Sting, Elton John, Annie Lennox, Bruce Springsteen and James Brown.

Do you offer civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies?
LSO St Luke’s is able to offer receptions for marriages and civil partnerships, but does not have a licence for ceremonies.
Do couples & their wedding party have exclusive use of your venue?
Every couple and their party is given exclusive use of the building on their special day, including use of the beautiful Jerwood Hall, two dressing rooms, and the optional use of the stunning garden and smaller rooms in the venue.

The Jerwood Hall at LSO St Luke’s is suitable for up to 200 seated guests or 450 standing reception.

LSO St Luke’s understands that catering is fundamental to your day, which is why they work with some of the most established and innovative caterers in London. Their catering partners have an extensive knowledge of the venue and will help create bespoke dishes that suit your appetite down to the final detail.
Can couples supply their own alcohol for the evening? Is there a corkage fee?
Couples are welcome to provide their own beverages, and there is a corkage fee for this.
Are couples completely free to choose their own wedding entertainment & do you have a specific sound system?
Couples are completely free to choose their own wedding entertainment. LSO St Luke’s experienced in-house technical and events team can work with your entertainment suppliers to create a magical experience. As a professional music venue and home to the London Symphony Orchestra, LSO St Luke’s boasts an impressive d&b sound system.
Do you offer accommodation on site? If so, for how many guests?
On-site accommodation is not available, however LSO St Luke’s convenient City location means there are plenty of extraordinary hotels – to fit any budget – just a stone’s throw away.
Do you have an in-house wedding co-ordinator?
LSO St Luke’s has a dedicated events team who can work with the catering, floristry, and entertainment partners to coordinate your big day from the beginning of the planning process to the night of the reception.
How far in advance can couples or their wedding stylist, florist etc have access to the venue in order to decorate it?
LSO St Luke’s factors time into its wedding package so that couples aren’t rushed for time on the day. Suppliers are given early access from midday to the venue to get everything ready in time (earlier extensions are available).
Do you have gardens or an outdoor area for wedding photographs?
The venue has a stunning 18th-century backdrop which is perfect for wedding photographs, taken in the gorgeous gardens that border LSO St Luke’s.
