What’s your best advice to couples when choosing their perfect wedding venue?
First and most DO NOT let yourself or anyone else stress you! Organising your perfect day meant to be fun, and how can you have either fun or a perfect day when you are stressing about every single detail!
Here at The Alnwick Garden we have a very relaxed approach, where you tell us what you want and we tell you how to get there. We will tell you the truth if you are focusing on the wrong side of the wedding organisation or wanting something that isn’t possible, so you always know where you are at!
Any finally, what are your favourite moments from previous wedding you’ve been involved with?
Where to start! We are blessed with truly lovely couples that we have had so many amazing memories! From one of my brides bursting into tears when she booked the date, of course happy and excited tears! To a bride running across the aisle to give me a hug before she said yes to her fiancé.
We have had a beautiful entrance from one of our Asian brides and grooms, full of colour, music and dancing! That was THE biggest entrance I have witnessed in my career.
Every single couple made an impact on us as a team, and on myself as the manager of the department. We felt the love and happiness that filled the room so many times. I feel privilege to stay friends with quite a few of my couples’ years after their wedding and hopefully for years to come.
