Do you have in-house catering, or preferred suppliers or are couples free to choose their own caterers?
We provide in house catering and Tapton Hall’s experienced staff will build a menu package to suit the needs of you and your guests that is on budget. Choose from a vast range of set dinner menus as well as buffet and fork buffet menus.
A selection of Fish, Meat and Poultry courses are available alongside Vegetarian and Vegan options, and we can cater for any other dietary options. Tapton Hall chefs produce our food on site and can cater for 200 guests.

Couples are welcome to choose their own wedding entertainment be that a live band or a DJ! We also provide a DJ and sound system if a couple opts for the full package option.
Do you offer accommodation on site? If so, for how many guests?
Unfortunately, we don’t but we have links with local hotels which we can book on your behalf.

Our wedding co-ordinator will be there for you from initial planning to the big day alongside support from our events and front of house teams.
How far in advance can couples or their wedding stylist, florist etc have access to the venue in order to decorate it?
Usually couples can set up on the morning of their wedding and arrangements for this are made with the wedding coordinator.
Do you have gardens or an outdoor area for wedding photographs?
We have a gorgeous garden out the front of Tapton Hall which is a perfect setting for photographs.
What’s your best advice to couples when choosing their perfect wedding venue?
Never judge a venue solely on the outside! Always have a viewing of the inside rooms and meet with the wedding team because sometimes it’s what’s on the inside that counts!
And finally, what are your favourite moments from previous wedding you’ve been involved with?
They all have had elements that stand out from emotional ceremonies, Christmas weddings with a hot chocolate drinks reception whilst hand bell ringers entertained the guests, singing waiters that joined our team to serve food and then burst into song during dessert – (oh and they turned the groom and his ushers into a boy band!) and a bride being piped into the ceremony. Not to mention all our lovely couples and hilarious best man speeches!
