Morden Hall is a stunning Georgian mansion, entirely renovated and redesigned in 2015 as a dedicated, exclusive use wedding venue. Conveniently located in south London, just a few minutes walk from the London Underground, the house is set in 250 acres of National Trust Parkland a haven of tranquility amongst a bustling city.
Ceremonies can take place in either the grand Willow Room with its elegant fireplace and doors that open on to the North Lawn, or the elegant Hawthorn Room with stunning original features and views over the grounds.
Following your ceremony, there’s a wonderful opportunity enjoy summer drinks on the pretty North Lawn beside the River Wandle. Or, in cooler weather, drinks and canapés can be served in the house itself. With the light filled Mulberry Room awaiting your wedding party for whatever style of wedding breakfast you choose, we must hand you straight over to the team at Morden Hall to tell you more.

Morden Hall is an exquisite country house entirely dedicated to weddings. Set within 125 acres of National Trust parkland in south London, we invite you to enjoy all that this inspirational venue has to offer, from elegant ceremony rooms to exceptional dining spaces and picturesque gardens.
Do you offer civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies?
Yes. Morden Hall is licensed for ceremonies in three of its rooms. At the very heart of the house, Willow seats up to 120 and features a dramatic staircase and large doors opening on to the gardens.
As with every room in the house, period features are highlighted by a tranquil colour scheme while contemporary details and pops of colour add to the design.
Hawthorn, an elegant drawing room, is the perfect setting for smaller ceremonies while Mulberry with its stunning vaulted ceiling can accommodate larger numbers.
Do couples & their wedding party have exclusive use of your venue?
You will have exclusive use of Morden Hall on your wedding day.

Do you have in-house catering, or preferred suppliers or are couples free to choose their own caterers?
At Morden Hall, we work with the talented chefs from Galloping Gourmet, creating bespoke menus to suit the style of your day. While many couples enjoy a fine dining experience for their wedding breakfast, the evening celebration is your opportunity to enjoy a less formal, more theatrical alternative.
Perhaps you might choose to serve cocktails alongside fire-pit barbecues or wood-fired pizza ovens on the North Lawn, or even have live food stations in the house itself?
Can couples supply their own alcohol for the evening? Is there a corkage fee?
Are couples completely free to choose their own wedding entertainment & do you have a specific sound system?
We welcome you to choose suppliers of your choice. We ask that all wedding bands and DJs adhere to the decibel limit set at Morden Hall when playing music.
Do you offer accommodation on site? If so, for how many guests?
We do not offer accommodation, however, there are a number of excellent hotels all within easy reach of Morden Hall.
Do you have an in-house wedding co-ordinator?
Yes. Galloping Gourmet is the specialist wedding planner and manager. The on-site team will work closely with you through every step of the way to help create your dream wedding day.
How far in advance can couples or their wedding stylist, florist etc have access to the venue in order to decorate it?
You are welcome you to arrive at the venue from 10am onwards on the day to start setting up. However, it may be possible to arrive earlier, which can be arranged with the wedding Events Team at Morden Hall.
Do you have gardens or an outdoor area for wedding photographs?
As well as being surrounded by 125 acres of stunning National Trust parkland, Morden Hall has its own private gardens and manicured lawns.
In addition, the River Wandle separates the North Lawn from the main parkland and provides the perfect photo opportunity with its beautiful old footbridge leading over the river.
