Bare Sandals specialises in one of a kind, unique foot jewellery specifically designed for destination wedding, beach getaways, honeymoons and holidays in the sun. Just pefect for boho and free spirited brides.
Bare Sandals are absolutely ideal for brides planning a sand between the toes destination wedding. In this setting traditional footwear often feels cumbersome. Going bare foot’s fine, but not very ‘finished’ or dressy on such a special day. Here’s where Bare Sandals are so unique and fit the bill perfectly.
Bare Sandals are not footwear in the traditional sense, but think of them instead as gorgeous jewellery, a beautiful adornment for your feet to give them a really pretty finish without the bulk of traditional shoes.
We had a super chat to Anna who runs Bare sandals earlier and we recently had the pleasure of catching up with her. Anna shared her latest photo shoot with us and her plans for the coming months, sounds like it’s going to be a super busy a time.
What have you been up to since we last spoke?
What are your stand-out moments since our last chat?
Something that stood out since we last chatted was definitely organizing the bridal photo shoot, which happened in June. Organizing this took a ton of work and presented some challenges. Finding a location was a true pain. When I drove around New Jersey, scouting locations and talking to hotel owners, 90 % of them didn’t “get” what I was trying to do, nor did they get what type of business I owned.
The concept of “barefoot sandals” is fairly new, and because of that, I had a super difficult time finding the right venue. In addition, the original model that I booked literally vanished a week before the shoot. I had to find a replacement a week before the shoot, so that was super stressful.
Finding vendors for the shoot also took time and lots of efforts. In the end, everything came together and we had an amazing time, but it definitely wasn’t easy getting to that point.
As a result, the shoot was picked up to be published in a Swedish blog, Sisters in Law and by International Wedding Festival Magazine. It’s great to see your hard work pay off.
What do you have planned for the next 12 months?
In the next 12 months, I am looking to continue to add to the remainder of the rhinestone collection sandals on our website ( we have about 10 more pairs that need to be placed on the website ), adding a new LACE collection and hopefully securing some more editorial features from magazines here in the US.
I am also definitely hoping to continue growing our Instagram following and reaching 10K by the end of next summer, as well as reaching 25K following on Facebook.
We are planning to launch an online wedding shop in 2018. Would you be interested in selling to us? If so, what products would you like to offer our readers/customers?
Absolutely! We would love to offer our barefoot sandals, head chain and hand jewelry for your beautiful readers 🙂
