We just want to say a big thank you to all at the Bride: The Wedding Show at Westpoint Arena, Exeter for inviting us along at the weekend. We had such an amazing and busy time. As usual at these events, I was so busy chatting to everyone that I was loosing my voice by the end and luckily Martin captured some great images to share with you.
As it was super busy, you just have to grab what photos you can, but Martin did an awesome job and we hope these images give you a feel for the energy of the show and the range of suppliers and venues taking part.
Bride: The Wedding Show at Westpoint Arena
We couldn’t get there last year, but we were right in the thick of things this year, and my it was busy. We went along on Saturday morning and met so many amazing wedding suppliers and venues.
Showcasing Unique Suppliers & Venues
From wedding dress boutiques…
To florists, wedding stationers, photographers and cake makers …
There was also a wonderful selection of wedding transport in it’s own marquee, fab menswear ideas for your groom and his groomsmen and did we mention amazing wedding stylists….
You could literally try, buy, book and hire everything you need for your special day at the show. And so many couples were doing just that.
Ways To Make Your Big Day Special
Bride: The Wedding Show is definitely for couples who appreciate quality, creativity and craftsmanship in order to ‘own their day’ making it a true reflection of themselves as a couple, whether it’s an intimate gathering or a mega celebration.
We met some truly inspirational, exciting and totally unique suppliers at the show, who were all without fail, welcoming and super keen to share their ideas with us and the many other couples who we often queueing up to talk to them.
Such a Energetic Catwalk
We loved the energy of the catwalk where fabulous frocks and stylish menswear was brought to life with a sassy, spirited show from all the models.
Glancing through wedding dresses on rails is fine, but nothing beats seeing a gown actually being worn by someone. Only then do you truly get the feel for how it shapes itself to the body, how it moves and how it catches the light.
When dresses are animated like this it’s so much easier to imagine yourself wearing them. Time and again, our followers on the blog say how much they love to see a dress on a model, ideally in real life, but failing that, a video or even a lifestyle photo shoot and we couldn’t agree more.
The Next Bride: The Wedding Show at Westpoint Arena

Thank you Bride: The Wedding Show
And finally a huge thank you to the team at Bride: The Wedding Show for inviting us along, we had a blast and met so many great suppliers and venues – Until next time.
