Tell us a little about yourself and your business
I am a wedding and portrait photographer from the midlands, I’m happy to travel far and wide to capture weddings big or small, classic or alternative.
What motivated you to start your business?
This may sound corny or cliché but when I found photography I found my passion, I love it. I knew I wanted to make it more than a hobby and I truly believe that when you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life.
So that was my motivation and KLRSnaps was born from it.
Tell us a little more about the day to day activities of your business
Everyday is truly different which makes my work life exciting, when I’m not shooting weddings or portrait sessions I’m working on my website, editing, or doing admin.
Some days are more glamorous than others but it’s all fun.
If our readers were to order from you, what can they expect?
I offer a truly personal service and I’ll go that extra mile to make sure I give the best possible service.
I’m always on hand to help where ever I can and I’m more than happy to lend an ear if I’m needed. Nothing is too much trouble.
How can couples judge if a company is the right fit for their wedding?
You need to really click with your supplier, I think you know after the first initial meeting if it’s a good fit.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions to make sure you’re completely happy, and don’t be afraid to say no. I’ll be more than happily recommend someone else if my style doesn’t fit your day.
What are your favourite moments from previous weddings you’ve been involved with?
I think my favourite moment has to be when one of my couples little daughter (who was acting as flower girl) decided she’d made too much mess, and started to clean up all the petals she’d dropped during the service. I wasn’t the only one giggling to myself I swear!
The bigger picture – does your business offer goods/services outside of the wedding world? Tell us more
I offer portrait sessions and event photography. I also have a Photo Booth, which is a lot of fun especially during wedding receptions.
What have you got planned for the next 12 months?
I have lots of things planned for the next twelve months one of those is to attend my first wedding fare which I’m really excited about.
And finally, what or who inspires you and why?
I’m inspired everyday by the strong women in my family, they encourage, teach and make me want to be the best version of myself. I’m also lucky to have amazingly supportive friends in the industry who push me to be better.
