Frances and Rose designs capture the very essence of that ‘just picked from the garden’ beauty and freshness that’s so popular amongst brides everywhere at the moment.
Offering truly bespoke wedding flowers and event dressing with a signature romantic and ethereal style, it was so nice to catch up with Marianne recently as we launched our new directory.
In her Supplier Edit post for us over the summer Marianne explained how Frances and Rose bring a unique touch to contemporary floristry with a fondness for the wild and whimsical.
Time for that catch up now as Marianne tells us how things are going and about her plans for the upcoming year.

We run a bespoke floral design studio in the Peak District with a focus on seasonal, natural blooms. We specialise in Weddings and Events as well as private workshop parties for birthdays, hen do’s and anything in between!
What have you been up to since we last spoke?
Lots of exciting things have been happening for us, mainly upping our editorial portfolio with more photoshoots and eclectic artisanal displays, showcasing the best in seasonal flowers and bringing a modern twist to traditional ‘flower arranging’.
We are also excited to be able to announce that Marianne, the head designer, will be joining the team full time as of December, working towards building our profile as one of the most innovative floral studios in Derbyshire.
What are your stand-out moments since our last chat?
I think being featured in one of the UK’s leading Wedding and Accessories magazines with one of our photo shoots has to be a stand out moment for us.
We’ve been so lucky to work along side so many amazing suppliers in our industry and when our shoots come together and we are recognised by national press it’s a real reward for all our hard work.
What do you have planned for the next 12 months?
With Marianne now being full time, we have so many exciting projects in the pipeline.
Starting with some up-skill training in the New Year to ensure we can offer the most incredible luxury floral designs to all our clients, and then moving into our growing year with even more produce to harvest for workshops, events and shoots. Watch this space, because we’re coming!
Girl Gets Wed are planning to launch an online wedding shop in 2018. Would you be interested in selling through us? If so, what products would you like to offer our readers/customers?
As we don’t deliver on a national scale, it would be hard to sell a physical product, but we are potentially thinking of launching packages for hen parties and even wedding flowers gift vouchers.
Something we would be sure to contact you with if this becomes a more concrete plan!
