We recently had the pleasure of featuring 7th Avenue Bridal Boutique on our Supplier Edit feature and, not surprisingly, you completely fell in love with their gowns.
We’re popping back to be with 7th Avenue again in this post where we’ve chosen our top four fabulous gowns from their current collection that will be absolutely ideal for a summer or destination wedding. We appreciate that here, your priorities are not only sourcing a show-stopping gown, but one that’s also comfortable to wear in the heat of the day, and if you have a destination wedding planed, one that will travel well.
First Kirsten, owner of 7th Avenue Bridal tells us about the range of gowns they stock that are particularly suitable for warm weather wear:
“Are you getting married in a hot location or planning a sunny summer wedding? We have fantastic dresses for beach loving brides, outdoor ceremonies and stylish summer settings!
Some of our bridal dresses can also be taken home on the same day in our handy travel dress bags, great if you’re wedding shopping close to the big day. We have so many dresses which are light and airy; even some of our ballgowns are great for beach weddings!
Don’t let the gown’s luxurious volume fool you, brides can still be cool and comfortable while looking fabulous! Check out the styles below and contact us when you are ready to get trying on.”
Here are our fabulous four summer ready gowns that we’ve chosen as our favourites from Kirsten’s collection , and we’ll hand you back to her now to talk you through each one, highlighting their benefits for summer and destination brides.
Kirsten comments ….
Whimsy is a romantic lace style from Beloved by Casablanca. This dress is ideal for an outdoor ceremony in the sun with it’s luxuriously light fabric, cheerful buttercream colouring and beautifully fitted shape.
This gown also has delicate iridescent sequins sewn onto the scalloped lace, so it shimmers in the light! We just adore this gown and it’s bohemian vibe. You must see this dress in person to get the full effect and experience how gorgeous the fabric on this gown feels.
Venice is perfect for modern brides that still want a little taste of the traditional wedding dress, with a twist! This gown has a embellished lace top with a light and flowing crepe chiffon skirt. The softly pleated fabric falls beautifully below the bust to flatter your figure with ease.
This dress is available to order in ivory or white, to flatter your summer tan perfectly! This beautiful bridal gown has a lovely long train and the crepe chiffon fabric is breathable, ideal for tropical climates. The back of ‘Venice’ is complete with sweet little buttons to add that traditional touch.
Due to this gown’s versatile sweetheart neckline, you can go with or without straps. A lace or sheer bolero would also look lovely with this dress for when the temperature drops slightly in the evening. You can’t go wrong with a gown that is so easy to make all your own. Just try it on and see for yourself!
Lillian is a style for brides that aren’t interested in lace or classic princess dresses. This is stunning and slightly fitted a-line dress with just enough detail to make brides feel fabulous! This wedding dress is pleated and chic with a Grecian goddess look. There is a beautifully draped cowl back and little buttons along the back seam.
The soft chiffon train is just enough to add a little more drama. We can definitely see this dress on a tropical paradise! The v-neckline will suit any figure and make accessorising so easy!
You can add a shimmering diamond pendant and earrings to this look without feeling too over the top. If you choose to have a veil, our satin edge style will complete your wedding day ensemble perfectly!
Jubilee is another from our chic Beloved by Casablanca collection. Be swept away by it’s flowing soft lace and delicate pearl beading. The embellished detail includes glass beads, shimmering pearls and tiny iridescent sequins on floral lace. There is a sleek open back in the shape of a love heart, very romantic!
Brides can feel elegant and comfortable in this gown with it’s straight, sheath shape. It’s neither fitted or full, but just right! The train on this gown is long and fine, great your your walk down the aisle. Check out the video below for a closer look at this.
Thank you so much Kirsten, such gorgeous gowns and really useful advice.
Coming soon on the blog, Kirsten will be back with us and staying with the destination theme, she’ll share her hints and tips for preparing and packing your gown for long distance travel.
