With so many lovely suppliers joining us every day as part of the Girl Gets Wed Community, we thought it would be great to remind you how talented they all are and how amazing their work is
We’ve taken some of their most vibrant work, combined it with a blooming summer wedding inspiration theme and over the net few days we’ll be running a special mini series.
Whether you’re looking to source the very best summer flowers for your wedding, or how to give your venue a relaxed, sunshine summer feel, which delicious fruit filled naked wedding cake to choose, or even looking to source a pair of laid back barefoot beach sandals, check back with us every day this week for a host of sun kissed wedding inspo.
Summer Inspired Wedding Stationery
First up we’re taking a look at summer inspired wedding stationery from three of our fab stationery suppliers. We know that so many of you are planning well ahead, so if you have a wedding planned for next summer, if a destination wedding is on the cards, or even if you just love the idea of gorgeous flower bedecked stationery, whatever the time of year, then just take a look at these.
Little Daisy Crafts
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, we always get excited when talking about wedding stationery as this is the first glimpse your guests will have of how your wedding will look.
Couples will theme their wedding stationery to fit with the style of their big day. So in sending out you ‘save the dates’ and invitations, you are effectively showing your hand; revealing a little of the look and feel of your special day that you’ve probably already spent months planning, so no pressure then, but you definitely want to get your choice of stationery just right.
At Little Daisy Crafts your can choose from a wide range of contemporary pre-designed stationery, just waiting for your details to be added for you, or you can go totally bespoke.
We love all three of the summer themed stationery designs below. Emma at Little Daisy Crafts prides herself on the hand finished embelishments she adds to her work and the rustic floral bow and cute bunting give this invite such a contemporary rustic look .
Bunting is again for this summer themed evening invitation.
Whilst a delightful painterly, watercolour backdrop sets the scene for these bohemian style invites, which are so beautifully laid back. See more of Emma’s lovely work on the blog here.
Bespoke wedding stationery always looks beautiful and we absolutely love the personal touch it provides. This is why we are so pleased to feature Freefall Design who create gorgeous stationery that’s totally unique to you.
Take a look at just a small selection of Freefall’s fabulously original designs below and read more about how owner Kirsten’s lovely work can set the scene for your upcoming wedding in her recent Supplier Edit post.
In choosing our favourite three summer inspired designs from Kirsten’s wonderfully uique designs, we just had to show you this vine trail suite first. It really appeals as it’s delightfully simple and yet ornate at the same time, colourful and yet casual, so in both these respects, we feel it encapsulates everything that’s so special about summer.
Here are Girl Gets wed Central, we’re suckers for a lovely heart shape, add a dash of ditsy flower fabric and we’re totally won over.
Staying with our lovely hearts, don’t you just love the hand Stitched detail of this wedding invite? This would be such a lovely way to invite your guests to your summer festival themed wedding, or if you’re planning Valentines nuptials this would set the scene beautifully.
The Wedding Parcel
All the beautifully designed work from Hayley at The Wedding Parcel is totally unique and everything from funky fridge magnets to table plans and thank you cards can be customised. They also offer a fully bespoke design service.
We definitely have a soft spot for their fun and vibrant destination wedding range, which is so evocative of faraway shores and day long sunshine.
Retro romance never goes out of fashion and the beautiful summer blooms framing this invitation would suit all manner of wedding styles, with the twine and heart trim adding that extra personal touch.
And who wouldn’t get mega excited about receiving a personal message in a bottle invite? Wouldn’t this be the most amazing way to invite your guests to a beach or destination wedding?
And finally why not star on your own magazine cover style invite, such a smile inducing and novel idea, we love it! Check out more of Hayley’s work in her recent post here.
We really hope you’ve enjoyed the first of our summer themed specials and there will be more to follow over the next few days.
