Tell us about your venue
The Elvetham is a stunning family-owned estate set in 35 acres of beautiful grounds in North Hampshire. The current house is a stunning example of Victorian architecture with original feature fireplaces, walls adorned with rich oak and a spectacular staircase which all provides a beautiful and unique canvas for your dream wedding.
The Elvetham has a fascinating history as the house was once owned by Jane Seymour’s brother Edward who hosted Queen Elizabeth I. On her visit in 1591 the Queen planted an oak tree which still stands tall in the grounds today!

What’s your best advice to couples when choosing their perfect wedding venue?
It’s important for couples to choose a venue which suits their couple style and is a place they can visualise exchanging their vows and really relax in.
Any finally, what are your favourite moments from previous wedding you’ve been involved with?
It’s hard to pick just one moment, we love talking to all our couples about their plans from the moment they enquire all the way through to the day; the best part is seeing their visions come to life. Some of our favourite memories are seeing the couples’ reaction to surprises put on by their parents or friends, ranging from singing waiters to outstanding firework displays.
